WHAT IS THE CAR.O.L BIKE?

You might’ve heard of high-intensity interval training (or HIIT) at some point. The CAR.O.L. bike has taken the science behind HIIT and created an effective way to work out in even less time than a HIIT workout.

CAR.O.L. stands for Cardiovascular Optimization Logic, meaning this technology benefits your cardiovascular system and heart health. The CAR.O.L. bike is a stationary bike that’s installed with A.I. protocols that take you through a high-intensity workout in about ten minutes (or less).

This type of interval training is called “reduced-exertion high-intensity training (REHIT).” Short intervals are pre-programmed into a CAR.O.L. bike causing your body to respond to each bike workout. Positive health changes after eight weeks of REHIT bike workouts included improvements to:

  • Aerobic fitness (measured by VO2 max)

  • Systolic blood pressure
  • Waist circumference

Positive changes in health were also observed in the more traditional biking protocol; however, the REHIT workouts took significantly less time to do.
